As a lover of water and landscapes…

sketching the journey.

I started out by simply sketching some of my journeys. My first watercolor journal was filled on the beaches of New Zealand ;) and there were many to come. I love the slowness of traveling with a paintbrush in your hands and the eyes of a painter.

Plain Air painting.

My art is inspired by nature and I guess there is nothing better than being emersed in it while painting. The play of the lights and movement of life making it an ever welcome challenge.

water experiments.

I am far from mastering this water color thing. But I love the playfulness and experimental character the material brings to the table. Water fascinates me and so do puddles on my paper and streams of “uncontrollable” color dropping on my desk.
